“…for there shall
be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.”
Luke 1:45
Mary was with child. The angel said …”he shall be called the Son of God.” Elizabeth, her cousin, who was in her old age and barren is also with child. As Mary approaches, Elizabeth begins to prophecy...”Blessed art thou among women…and blessed is she that believed…for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.”
We are standing at the horizon of a new day…a day of the unknown. We stand by faith that God will fulfill the promise of His word to us. For He is ever faithful! His Word is yea and amen…and with God nothing shall be impossible!
Behind us lies the promises of yesterday, some still unfulfilled. The adversary taunts that God has forgotten or changed His mind. From deep within our heart speaks the promise of His infallible Word…I have sworn and I will perform it.
We stand as Mary stood…upon the promise of that spoken Word. I encourage you to hear the Spirit of the Lord speak the same promise into your heart. Many of you stand in the face of trouble…sickness, disease, addictions, unsaved family, financial disarray, grief and despair. You have clung to the promises of God in the face of your difficulty. The enemy seeks to weaken your faith and cause you to believe it is all hopeless. HEAR THE WORD OF THE LORD SPEAK TO YOU FOR 2005!
…there shall be a performance of those things which were told you from the Lord!
