BENEFITS      

"Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our Salvation."  Psalms 68:19    

As a surrendered follower of Jesus Christ drawing closer to Him with my desires and my life, all His benefits are free.  It is by His Amazing Grace we have everything to bring joy into our life.  Happiness follows as we walk and talk with Him.          

As a child I walked to and from school.   I lived one-half mile past the city limits of my home town.  The last half mile had four curves in the 31E south highway with no houses.  In the last curve before I got home, there was a breathtaking aroma in the Spring when the honeysuckles were in bloom.   Sometimes I would just stand a while and enjoy the smell before rounding the last curve and being home. 

This Spring I  went to check my Clematis on my front porch to see if it was blooming yet.  The Clematis was full of buds and three flowers. There was also a little yellow and  white tube-like flower vining in the Clematis.  It smelled so good.  It was a Honeysuckle.  My Clematis had been there 15 years and never before had this honeysuckle grown in it.  How did this vine get there?  Did you plant it for me, Lord?  Did you send the birds with a gift just for me? 

Precious Memories flooded my mind as I praised my Lord and Savior that morning.  I'm almost Home...just one more curve!   Thank you, LORD JESUS, for all the happiness YOU bring to my life!
