Gratitude...

 Couple of weeks ago I got out of bed before the sun came up as I  usually do.  Glancing out my kitchen window, toward the East , I saw this beautiful crescent moon.   Not far from the moon was a sparkling bright star.  This must be the Star that the Wise Men saw when they were looking for the baby JESUS.  Then as Matthew 2:10 states  "When they saw the Star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy".    Here I was rejoicing over the same Star and remembering my Savior.  People are still looking for HIM.   

Couple years ago I started a gratitude journal.   I thought I could surely think of one thing a day to thank GOD for His love to me. It is impossible to list just one thing! To be grateful is to be 'THANKFUL' defines Noah Webster.  Although to be full of gratitude is to possess a THANKFUL APPRECIATION.  

In the last few weeks, I noticed wild  flowers blooming all around my yard.  Along the woods...the road...the drive...my landscaping...the house. We have had a rain-soaked summer and this is the results.  My grass  stayed green all summer...no dry spots like last summer.  My flowers bloomed profusely all summer and now I see these gorgeous blue, red, white, orange and yellow wild flowers and daisies everywhere.  I did not sow, but I am reaping their beauty.  I am grateful to GOD for the wild flowers and the rain.  

Mostly I am grateful for SALVATION, Aren't you?
