From my heart...
Spring is near...birds are singing in our yard and finally the snow has melted. The beginning of buds on our trees is a welcome site at the end of a long, hard winter. It reminds of His promise...to everything there is a season...and this season is passing.
We are nearing the 9th Annual Spring Family Retreat in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee on April 1-3. Last year our meetings were so power packed with such a moving of the Holy Ghost...I am excited to see what He has in store for us this year! If you have not made your reservations, call 1-800-523-3919 and mention He Died For Me for your group rate of $59 per night. The registration fee is $20 per person to cover the cost of the meeting space and is to be mailed to: HDFM, PO Box 125, Willisburg, KY 40078. You can watch for more details on the bulletin page of our site. We hope you are making plans now to attend...you will not want to miss these meetings!
Ronnie and I have built a facebook page for He Died For Me Ministries. You can follow our schedule, watch for any cancelled meetings or changes, prayer requests and updates of our ministry. We also have a facebook page in each of our names. I am posting prayer requests on my personal page also.
The end of April is our Campmeeting with Pastor Jeff Shifflett and the Wolftown Pentecostal Chapel in Madison/Wolftown, Virginia. Last year was our first campmeeting and there are no words to express how powerful the meetings were each day. My brother, Mike Ferree, Cecil Hamby and Ronnie and myself join together for this campmeeting for 2 services daily with a meal provided after the morning service. Go by our campmeeting page to see details of this meeting. You can also go to our link to Wolftown Pentecostal Chapel to see their motel information for that area. Make your plans now to attend!
Thank you for all your prayers for Ronnie and I this winter as we traveled in our meetings. Several times we were attacked in our body with sickness and you undergirded us with prayer...we are much better...excited about what God is doing...and thankful for our friends! We look forward to seeing you in the days ahead. God bless and we love you....
***Don't forget to check new dates for our 10th Annual Ladies Winter Retreat in November...we have moved up one week. Check Ladies Meeting page for details!
February is the month of the heart...
We arrived home the first day of February after being on the road for a month in South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and back to Tennessee for our first Campmeeting of the year in Johnson City. The Lord visited night after night at the Bible Church with such an outpouring of His Spirit. The weather was truly winter with snow falling but no hamper on the meetings nor the crowd. They came on in spite of the weather for their touch from the Lord! The ladies of Bible Church served us lunch each afternoon and what meals they served! Homemade chicken salad, soups and salad, pies, cakes, baked spaghetti and we ate and ate and ate! Thank you ladies for your kindness to us during the campmeeting. To be a master we must first become a servant and you showed your spirit of a servant this week! Thank you to all the pastors that came and brought your people to join with us in this Winter Campmeeting. It is surely a body ministry and we are thankful for every member of this body.
We met three new pastors and held revival with them in January in Columbia, SC, St. Augustine, FL, and Asheville, NC. We are excited to have two more for February in Batesburg, SC and Andrews, SC. We are so thankful for the confidence of pastors opening their doors to us and allowing us to meet their people. We are headed back this month to two of our new churches from last year...in Alturas, Florida and Pelham, Georgia. Now we are reaching back into our faithful churches that have been kind enough to keep their doors open to us for many years now.
Our Spring Retreat in almost upon us again. The block of rooms at the Ramada Inn are being held until March 1 at $59 per night for up to 4 people. The registration fee of $20 per person (children 12 and under free) is due to be mailed to HDFM, PO Box 125, Willisburg, KY 40078 by March 19 to allow us to make preparation for your arrival. After last year's meeting, we are so excited to see what the Lord has in store. Last year was such a visitation of his presence with over 20 pastors and evangelists preaching and praying together with such unity. We received reports of great deliverance and healings taking place during the retreat and expect no less this year. Make your plans now to join us in beautiful Pigeon Forge. We are mailing registration forms now or you can go to the bulletin page and download your form. See you on April 1.
Join us on Facebook at Becky Ferree Trammell and request to be added as a friend for our last minute schedule changes, prayer requests and sermon thoughts. Not on facebook....that's ok....click on HDFM Blog here on our site and we will post prayer requests, last minute schedule changes and sermon thoughts here also. Join with our group of prayer partners and watch for our prayer requests and praise reports! "Men ought always to pray and not to faint..."
***Don't forget 10th Annual Ladies Winter Retreat dates are changed to November 11-13 this year...one week earlier...mark your calendar and make your plans to join us again this year.
We love you...God bless you...see you soon in revival.

A New Year is a new beginning... We have already reached the end of 2009 and are preparing for the New Year's Eve service in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky once again! The year has passed so swiftly... I can never enter into a new year without reflecting on the year I have just closed. Have I accomplished everything I needed or wanted to...am I higher up the mountain than I was this time last year...is my love more pure...am I walking as a Proverbs 31 virtuous woman? We have been very busy this year...revivals every week, six campmeetings with Mike Ferree and Cecil Hamby, two retreats in Pigeon Forge, two tent meetings with Mike...somewhere over 75 souls saved in our ministry and Mike and Sally's ministry both separately and us working together. We have met many new friends...started a blog on our site...joined Facebook and still learning how to communicate on this new venture. We have also lost friends this year...today I preached Sister Mary Sorrells funeral in Boyle, Mississippi. We had stayed in her home, ate at her table, laughed and cried with her, prayed with her...she was my friend. I will miss her phone calls...and her undergirding prayers for Ronnie and I. We ended this year spending a few days with my family...Mom, brothers and sister plus in-laws, nieces and nephews. It is always such a happy time when the family comes together to laugh, talk, eat and bring each other back up to date on our lives. I am thankful for the opportunity to be with family during the holidays...I am aware that not everyone has this luxury...I am blessed! There is a sense of excitement for what He is going to do during this upcoming year! We are beginning our meetings in South Carolina in a new church in Columbia and another one in St. Augustine, Florida. We then return to our old friends and look forward to what He has in store for all of us. The end of January brings our Winter Campmeeting in Johnson City, Tennessee at the Bible Church with Mike Ferree and Cecil Hamby. You can see all the details on our Campmeeting page. April 1-3 will be our Spring Family Retreat in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and our 10th Ladies Winter Retreat will be a week earlier this year...November 11-13, 2010! Make sure you mark these dates on your calendar! We will be giving you more frequent updates on our HDFM Blog and on Facebook...watch our blog page for current events and last minute changes to our schedule...also prayer requests for our prayer partners! I pray you have a very Happy New Year and a healthy, prosperous 2010! I pray you know Him in this upcoming year in a measure you have never known Him before!
