From My Heart

January 2011

From My Heart....

We have entered into another new year and look into the days ahead with great expectancy.  I have no way of knowing what the days ahead will hold for us.  I do know this one thing...the same One who has always ordered our steps....has control of us this year!  He walked with us in 2010 and He will do no less in 2011!

We ended 2010 with several days of rest and time with my family.  Our heart was to enter into the new year refreshed and ready for what He had in store for us in the new year!  Our first revivals this year have been such a move of God and touch of His presence...I believe this is a foretaste of what lies ahead of us.  As we yield our vessels to Him....He walks in us, through us and uses us to become a blessing to others.

Our first Ladies Meeting will be with Peggy Jones in St Augustine, FL February 11-12.  Pastor Yvette Montgomery preaches Friday night and I will be the Saturday morning speaker with a lunch following.  All the details of this meeting is on our Ladies Meeting page.  We finish out the month of February with meetings all through Florida.

March will be our planning for our 10th Annual Spring Family Retreat in Pigeon Forge, TN.  The meeting begins March 31-April 2.  There will be pastors, evangelists, musicians and singers coming in from many different areas to joins us for this weekend.  It is always such a great time of refreshing.  You can find all the details of the meeting...how to register, the information for the Ramada Inn special group rate and our delicious buffet lunch on the Bulletin page.  Mark your calendars now to attend this great meeting.

We look forward to seeing you again very soon in your area.  We are seeking God now to finalize our schedule and find His perfect will for our direction in the days ahead.  Thank you for standing with us in prayer!  God bless....

February 2011

From My Heart....

I have purposed in my heart to write you a new letter at the beginning of each month this year...

So this is February!  It is Valentine's month and I have written a new sermon on our Sermon page with my gift for Valentine's Day!

We are headed into 3 weeks of meetings beginning in South Carolina, Georgia and Florida and we are so excited!  God smiled on us in January and we are filled with anticipation for what He has in store for February!

Our 1st Campmeeting of the year with my brother, Mike Ferree and Cecil Hamby and the Bible Church was such a great success!  Night after night Jesus walked with us in the meetings!  On Friday night my nieces drove up from Cleveland and Mike's son, Aaron gave his heart to the Lord...then was filled with the Holy Ghost a few moments later.  Cameron (Mike's adopted son) and several others also received the Holy Ghost that night...it was a little bit of Mt Airy Campmeeting all over again!  We ended with a spirit of rejoicing and old fashioned prayer line on Saturday night!  I believe this is an indicator of what lies ahead of us all this year!

We have sent out our registration forms for the 10th Annual Spring Family Retreat in Pigeon Forge, TN at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center March 31-April 2!  If you have not received yours, email us now to register for our 10th Anniversary Family Retreat!  You can make your reservations now under our group rate by calling 1-800-523-3919...see our website Bulletin Page for details!

February 11-12 we return to St Augustine, FL to work with Peggy Jones and Unity Outreach for her 7th Annual Ladies Retreat.  We will be there Friday night with Pastor Yvette Montgomery...a woman of God with a word from the Lord...and then we will be preaching Saturday morning at 10:00 with a lunch following at 1PM.  This is our 3rd year to work with Peggy and each year is different and better than the year before!  You will enjoy being a part of this meeting...see our Ladies Meetings page for details!

We are also preaching our 1st Ladies Meeting in Fort Pierce, FL with Tina Velie and Place of Refuge church.  Tina is having a Friday night service and a Saturday morning service with a lunch following.  This will be their first ladies meeting in their new church!  After several years of rebuilding after Hurricane Charley, they are near completion of this beautiful sanctuary!  Come join us February 25-26 for this meeting!  Details on Ladies Meeting Page!!

We have added 2 meetings to our schedule that are not in the newsletter...be sure to check out our Revival Schedule page!  We are adding 2 extra nights in Lake Wales...there is such a revival fire burning still from the January meetings.  They are still seeing souls saved and filled with the Holy Ghost since we left in January!  We are ending this month with a Monday night meeting with Tabernacle of Praise in Milledgeville, GA for a special one night meeting!  We hope to see you in the next 3 weeks!  If we are not going to be near you this month...pray with us that we will see lives changed...souls saved and hearts renewed!  We love you.....

March 2011

From My Heart...

March has been a very eventful month for Ronnie and I so far....

We ended our month of February with revivals all over Florida and each one had a story of it's own.  The Lord Jesus moved over and over again as we traveled from place to place!  Both Ladies Meetings were a great success...one the first of February in St Augustine and the other the end of February in Fort Pierce.  Each meeting had it's own individual presence that was  life changing for us!  We are already making plans for next year's meetings.

At the end of February we were scheduled to preach one last meeting in Milledgeville GA on our way home for a week off....after being gone for 3.  We went by Lakeland to the Watkins Clinic for Ronnie to have a physical before we left Florida.  What was supposed to be a 3 hour check up turned into a 2 day ordeal.  Ronnie's ekg was abnormal...next step was a nuclear stress test...he had chest pain in the middle of the test...next step was to schedule a heart cath.  My brother took our meeting in Milledgeville as we stayed over in Lakeland to prepare for the heart cath.  We are so thankful to all our friends and prayer partners who stood with us during this time.  On Tuesday morning his heart cath showed no blockages...very minimal build up in only one artery!  We were absolutely thrilled with these wonderful results!  I know God has moved for us one more time!  There was an issue on Monday....but all is well on Tuesday!  Thank you Jesus one more time!  We are now preparing to return north to our scheduled meetings.  The doctors would not release Ronnie to travel the 13 hour drive for a week.  We have taken advantage of this time to rest in Florida.  God has smiled on us with such great friends and prayer partners...there are no words to express our love in return!

Our Virginia Spring Campmeeting is soon approaching and we look forward to joining the folks in Wolftown for this yearly event.  It is always such a refreshing in the Lord!  Check out our Campmeeting page for details for this meeting.

The end of March brings our 10th Annual Spring Family Retreat!  We are so excited to see what God has in store for us.  We are receiving mail and calls from pastors and friends that are coming this year for the first time.  I know you will not want to miss this meeting!  Pastors, evangelists, singers, musicians and saints from many different states come together for a weekend of "a little heaven of earth"!  Check our Bulletin page for more details on how to prepare for this meeting.

Our heart is so humbled this month as we see over and over again how God has given us such caring, compassionate friends and partners.  Thank you for all your prayers...your support and your love for us....

June 2011

From my heart….

Today we begin another new month…May has come to a close and June has begun!  The month of May was filled with violent weather as tornadoes tore across our nation…Alabama, Missouri, Tennessee, Georgia and Kentucky…just to name a few!  Hundreds of tornadoes destroyed homes and families and now we watch friends and neighbors bind together to pick up the remains and begin again!  I heard an interview of a tornado hit area and one man admitted he had never known his neighbors….but we know one another now…we are working together to rebuild!

My heart was so touched as I thought of the similarity in our walk with God!  We have also seen a year filled with storms and battles tearing through the body of Christ!  Battered and bruised, some exhausted from the attack of their enemy…yet, I see this strong Body of Christ rise to the occasion with a determination to “fight a good fight”!  I see a resilience and unity in the meetings as this body of believers are looking for those that are weak in battle to help them to “stand fast”!  I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for us in the months ahead….He is faithful and we are the clay in His hands!  Every trial, battle, storm and difficulty is molding us, shaping us and binding us together as one and bringing us into His image!

Our face is set toward Campmeeting in Mt Airy, North Carolina now….June 30-July 9 we gather under the big gospel tent for 10 great nights of visitation!  Last year there were 46 filled with the Holy Ghost as He walked through the meetings night after night with His presence!  We didn’t start it….we didn’t control it….we didn’t finish it!  It was His divine visitation!  I am anxious to see what He has in store for us this year!  We have motels listed on our Campmeeting page and our mail has gone out to over 7000 people reminding them of this year’s Campmeeting.  If you have not yet received your mail, contact us through our email address and give us your email or mailing address and we will make sure you receive your information.

All ministers and their wives and husbands are invited to our Minister’s Prayer Breakfast Saturday morning July 9.  It is always such a special time for the ministry to join together and share their heart!  We will have more information concerning this during Campmeeting.

Join us on the Andy Griffith Parkway (Hwy 52) behind Big Lots under the big gospel tent…we will be singing, praising, worshipping, preaching and praying….with great anticipation of His Presence!  See you there….

From my heart…

When I wrote my last letter, I was talking about May coming to a close….and now here I am looking into August!  The last 2 months have flown by…we have been so very busy…and God has been so good to us!

Our Campmeeting this year was a special visitation of His presence.  As pastors, evangelists, singers, musicians and saints of God gathered together from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Virginia, West Virginia, Florida, Maryland and some I may have forgotten…we walked together in worship and rejoiced at the unfolding of His Word!  Each year has its own special touch…and this year was no different.  We had several miracle healings this year….some filled the Holy Ghost…and yes, salvations….the greatest miracle of all!

We are so thankful to everyone who took part in Campmeeting 2011.  We appreciate our pastors who are so faithful to support Campmeeting by encouraging their people to take part…we appreciate all those who lifted up our hands with offerings to make the Campmeeting possible…and we appreciate all the singers and musicians who came night after night to help lead us into that wonderful place of worship.  We are so thankful for the Body of Christ…our brothers and sisters in the Lord!

We left our Campmeeting in North Carolina and within a few days was in Harmon, Virginia to take part in their Campmeeting.  My brother, Mike and I tag team preached along with Pastor Hess, Josh and Pastor King…what a wonderful outpouring of His anointing upon the people!  It was great to be in meeting with Shane, the officer you have been praying for, he came to play the bass and take part in Wednesday’s meeting.  We believe God with Shane for a total healing in his body…total restoration to his health!

After a few days we traveled to Waynesville, NC for their annual Campmeeting (Camp Hope) with Pastor Roland’s people and the Wyatts and Pressleys.  Over 25 years ago I stopped by Camp Hope for one night and gave my testimony on my way to a meeting in Newport News, VA.  After all these years, it was so great to worship with many of the same men and women of God…still keeping the faith….still praising God!  We had a little tag team preaching here also with Becky Nance and Donna O’Neal (Donna traveled with me about 25 years ago) and then another night with Pastor Roland and Brother Wyatt!  I love how the body of Christ flows together like a giant river….speaking the same thing…bringing us to a great touch of God!  What a wonderful Campmeeting….great friends, great food, great fellowship….and great presence of the Lord!

We are now setting our face to our 11th Annual Ladies Winter Retreat.  I am preparing registration forms and pastor packets to be sent out this week.  We have some new features this year.  Your registration form is also on our website under “Ladies Meetings”.  You can download the form and mail to our home address or email your registration to trammellministry@aol.com.  Then we have added a PayPal account for those who have requested to be able to pay online.  I am excited to have an easier way for the ladies to register.  We are attempting to have more of the ladies pre-registered and less registering at the door!

We have purchased beautiful Longaberger totes again this year for every registered lady and are now making preparations for your arrival.  The meal is planned, the contract for the convention center is signed, and a block of rooms reserved next door at the Ramada Inn….now all we need is YOU!  Make your plans now to join us November 10-12 in beautiful Pigeon Forge, Tennessee at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center!  I promise it will be a life-changing weekend for you!

This month has been a month of “Thanksgiving” for us as we began a month of daily face book posts of things we are thankful for.  Nearing the end of this month and a few days before Thanksgiving Day I am thankful for …..A month of Thanksgiving!

I have enjoyed reading the posts of all of our friends sharing what they are thankful for….husbands, children, Moms, Dads, nieces, sisters, church, truth, and even warm baths.  I believe we have unlocked a door to harvest in our life as He instructed us to Enter into His presence (gates) with thanksgiving…and His courts with praise.

Two weeks before our 11th Annual Ladies Winter Retreat the Lord spoke to my heart…In the presence of the King!  This became our theme and I reread Esther and her journey waiting on the golden scepter to be extended that she might enter into his presence.  I could see His golden scepter being extended to us and we were now to make the choice to enter into His Presence!  Service after service the ladies came with high expectations praising the King.  Each service was power-packed with worship, singing, preaching, and praying….basking in the Presence of the King!  The theme was prophecy of what was to come!  His presence enveloped us and we were changed!

I am thankful for all the ladies who came…all the pastors and pastor’s wives who worked so hard to help their ladies get to Pigeon Forge…for the girls from Johnson City and Elizabethton who come to work every year…for Monica who always comes ready to step in at any place there is a need…all my family who helped make this all possible…my nieces and my sister in law singing and playing music (after they had made wreaths to give away for door prizes)…my niece taking pictures…my sister registering and taking care of all the things that are needed to keep everything running smoothly (and for her beautiful gift for a door prize)…my niece coming early to set up and greeting the ladies as they arrived at the door…my niece taking care of the gifts, tickets and every other thing I needed handed to me...  I am thankful for my sister in law who made 10 of the wreaths and then came to help Lindy register the ladies at the door.  I am also thankful for my brother and sister in law who was not even a part of the meeting but donated handmade Christian signs that we could give away.  This year was truly a family affair.   We also had donations from Banita (scarves inside the first 100 totes) and from Jeri Ann (bottles of spikenard anointing oil in the second 100 totes) and packages of tissue for each lady from Pat and Brenda.  Everyone joined in and help to make this year’s Retreat such a wonderful success.

We have closed another chapter of our life….the Retreat has ended and I am already gathering things for next year’s Retreat November 8-10, 2012!  Now, we set our face to our Winter Campmeeting with Pastor Chris Williams in Langley, SC along with my brother, Mike Ferree and Cecil Hamby.   Each December we meet in Langley along with many of our friends to close out the year with our final Campmeeting of 2011.

January will be our first Campmeeting of 2012 in Johnson City, TN with Pastors Garry Hyder and Bo Barnes at the Bible Church.  In February we will help preach the Unity Outreach Ladies Meeting hosted by Peggy Jones in St Augustine, FL.  In March we travel to the Shenandoah Valley area for Spring Campmeeting with Pastor Jeff Shifflett and Wolftown Pentecostal Chapel in Wolftown, VA.  Then in April we return to Pigeon Forge for our 11th Annual Spring Family Retreat at the same Smoky Mountain Convention Center.  This retreat is open to the entire family and each year we have pastors, evangelists, singers and musicians come from many different areas and join with us for this great time of fellowship and worship in the presence of the Lord.  There is information on our Bulletin page with the dates, cost of registration and the phone number of the Ramada Inn where we have a special group rate for everyone planning to join us!  2012 is filled with many special meetings….along with each week we will be returning to your area to reach for a touch of God in your life.

Of all the things I am thankful for…I am thankful above all things…..for the call.
