June 2002
From my heart...
There have been many changes since our last letter. God is moving quickly, setting us in HIS order for this end-time work!
We had our first Spring
Revival in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee with Chris and Lynda Hylton from
Birmingham, Alabama, Willing Vessels from Mount Airy, NC and Jeff Vaughn from
Royston, Georgia. We intended to have a concert on Friday night but with so
many gifted singers and musicians, we had a mini concert each night!
On Friday we had an outpouring of the Holy Ghost…singing,
preaching, praying, shouting, dancing…a visitation of His presence.
We were so pleased to see so many of our friends come in from so many
different states: Louisiana,
Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Virginia, North
Carolina, West Virginia, Florida, and South Carolina.
We are now anticipating what God will do in our 2nd
annual Ladies Winter Retreat in November.
Start making plans now to attend.
Come and see what the Lord will do!
Since the death of our overseer, friend and father in the Lord, H. Richard Hall,
Sister Margie Minton Poteat served as President of the United Christian
Ministerial Association. She has
resigned to evangelize with her husband, Charles Poteat and the Board of
Directors voted Mike Ferree, my brother, as the new President.
We are excited to see what God has in store for United Christian this
year. Our first Campmeeting/Convention without Brother Hall will be
June 27-July 6. There will be 3
services daily, 10am – 2:30pm – 7:30pm. We will serve two meals a day for anyone wishing to eat with
us. There will be special services
for the youth led by Keith and Margie Nix from Asheville, NC and Vacation Bible
School for the small children led by Elizabeth Shreve.
We anticipate an outpouring of the Holy Ghost for
all those coming with hearts filled with expectation!
Ronnie and I have set up an office in
Cleveland, Tennessee, our headquarters. We
will be traveling through Cleveland weekly to help in the work there and then to
our home in Kentucky as our home base. We
have also put our schedule in the Shield of Faith magazine as staff evangelists.
It is the quarterly publication of United Christian Ministerial
Association. If you would like to
receive the Shield with sermons and revival schedules of all the staff
evangelists, please email us your address requesting the Shield of Faith.
I have several Ladies Meetings scheduled for this
year. You can watch our schedule
and the bulletin page for upcoming meetings in your area.
We have already planned meetings in New Salisbury, Indiana…Milwaukee,
Wisconsin…Grayton Beach, Florida and Melbourne, Florida.
We hope you will make special plans to join with us at one of these areas
close to your home.
We
have two tent meetings set for this summer.
Our first meeting will be
our 8th annual Quad Cities Tent Meeting in
Moline, Illinois in July and Gadsden, Alabama in
August. You can find information about the dates and location on our
TENT page. We hope you will join
with us in the tent this summer. Ronnie
and I have a burden for America as our mission field.
We believe souls can be won under a tent that we may never be able to
have in our churches. Please pray
with us that this summer will be a year for souls!
Ronnie has rented the Agricultural Center on Hwy
27 in Sebring, Florida for a city-wide revival and concert in October.
You can watch the concert page for details and a list of nearby motels
for those wanting to join us in Florida in October!
We are so pleased to hear from so many of you on our Guest Book with your
encouraging words. We are thrilled
with our web site and so happy you are stopping in on a regular basis to keep up
with what we are doing for Jesus. Our secretary, my niece, Amy Krupinski, will be leaving this
month for Japan to join her husband in the Air Force for the next three years.
She will still be keeping our site going from her new home.
We are especially thankful for all the work Amy has done to get us up and
running on the web and for the secretary work she has done for us since October.
She was an answer to many years of prayer to help lay the groundwork for
several new projects and restart some we had put aside.
We are going to miss her here at home.
Please keep Amy and her family in your prayers.
We
love you,
