2003 is a year of new beginnings for me & Ronnie!

The first sermon He spoke in my heart this year was….”Is there room in your heart for me to lodge?”  Just as Abraham’s servant had asked Rebekah when she came to draw water, He asked me when I came to Him drawing from His well.  I began to search my heart and find that I had allowed things to fill my heart that was taking the room He desired to fill.  This has been a year of Heart Spring Cleaning for me!  I have purposed to be able to answer like Rebekah…”I have room for you to dwell and both straw and provender enough for your camels.”  I want to answer that I have more than enough room made for Him.

We held our first Florida Ladies Retreat in February in Melbourne with the Pentecostal Lighthouse.  We watched the hand of God move in each meeting and refresh and rekindle the hearts of God’s handmaidens.  Lives were transformed as He carried us into His presence night after night.  Sister Velie was a most gracious host and the ladies of the churches in Melbourne and Fort Pierce worked very hard to make the meetings a joy for each woman attending.  Thank you Lighthouse and Freewill Mission for all your help!

In March we held our second Spring Revival in Pigeon Forge, TN.  We experienced an outpouring of the Holy Ghost that was breathtaking in each service.  Many new churches were represented this year and several of our friends returned from last year’s meeting.  This year Ronnie had difficulty with his back and was unable to set up our equipment and prepare for the people coming in for the services.  We were so blessed to have friends come in from Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky to play music for the meetings.  Thanks Cheryl and Joseph for coming early to set up all our equipment….we could not have been ready without all your help! 

Ronnie and I look forward to the Ladies Retreat in November and the Spring Revival in March as a time of homecoming with our friends and partners that have prayed for us and supported us throughout the year.  It is also a great time to meet new friends joining our services for the first time.  You can view pictures of the meetings on our Picture Gallery for this years Spring Revival and past meetings.  We hope you are making plans now to attend our Winter Ladies Retreat November 20-22 at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge.  It is a great time of fellowship for the ladies, four power-packed services, meals together, many door prizes, and outlet malls for Christmas shopping all in the same weekend!

We are now making preparations for our first tent meeting this year in Mt Airy, NC.  We will be working together with (my brother) Mike Ferree and Cecil Hamby for ten great services June 26-July 5.  The services will be 7:30PM nightly and 2:30PM on Sunday.  There are churches coming in from several different states and we are anticipating a great outpouring of His Presence.  I believe it will be a time of healing, refreshing and refilling.  We are expecting to rekindle the fire of the Holy Ghost in our own lives and those coming to join with us.  You can find a list of motels available on our bulletin page.  We invite you to spend a few days with us in beautiful Mt Airy (Mayberry).  Eat lunch at Snappy’s or Aunt Bea’s, visit Floyd’s Barber Shop or stay at the Mayberry Inn where Barney parks his car!  During the afternoon you can take a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway winding through North Carolina and Virginia Mountains.  Then each evening meet us under the gospel tent for a fresh outpouring of His Spirit.  We hope to see you there!

I must take this time to thank each of you that have prayed for Ronnie and I this year as we have made some changes in our ministry.  We are endeavoring to “follow the One who knows the Way” and find ourselves in the center of His will.  We covet the prayers of the righteous and value your friendship.  Your support both prayerfully and financially means more to us than my words are able to express.  Thank you and God bless you.  We love you.     Ronnie and Becky
