CAMPMEETING TIME!

We are making our final preparations for our annual Campmeeting/Tent Meeting in Mt Airy, North Carolina June 25-July 4.  I can feel the excitement as motels are being reserved and plans are being made to meet in Mt Airy the end of the month.  This is always a highlight for us as we spend ten days reuniting with old friends and meeting new ones under the tent.  There is always such a visitation of His presence.  We come filled with anticipation each year and we have never been disappointed!  You can view pictures of our previous Campmeetings on our tent page and follow the link to Mike Ferree Ministries for more pics. 

All ministers and their spouses need to make plans to join us on Saturday morning, July 4 for the Minister's Prayer Breakfast.  It will be in the banquet room of the Golden Corral at 10:00am and is always a special time of fellowship for pastors and evangelists to share what is on their heart.  If you are planning to attend the breakfast, please contact us by email or sign up during the tent meeting so we can have somewhat of an idea how many to plan for.  You will not be sorry you started your Saturday with us!

Ronnie is busy pulling together final details for his first Pickin in the Park 2009 in Wilkesboro North Carolina Saturday August 22.  There are several groups and individuals coming from many different areas to take part in this all day singing in the park.  We have Johnny Skinner coming from Woodruff, SC with his cooker preparing fresh pulled pork barbeque and chicken all day. You will not want to miss this meeting.  This is going to be a great time of singing and fellowship in the beautiful W. Kerr Scott Park at the Forest Edge Amphitheater. We look forward to seeing you in the park!

We just received news that Leon Everett and Country Cross will not be able to be a part of the Pickin' in the Park this year.  Leon has had an accident and has been badly burned needing skin graphs.  Please hold him up in prayer as he begins this journey of healing.  We will miss him in August but are thankful God has taken care of him through this terrible accident.  We will carry him in our heart in prayer until this journey is completed.
