September 2005
My last letter was the beginning of spring. Now those flowers are fading and the leaves are beginning to change…we are entering another season.
We have many plans set for this autumn season of the year! October 18-22 will be our First Annual Fall Camp meeting. Ronnie and I along with my brother, Mike Ferree and Cecil Hamby will be in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the Victory Temple church with our host pastor, Marlene Austin. We have preached for Sister Austin for nearly twenty years. She has a beautiful church on Hwy 45 just 30miles south of Jackson, Tennessee. There are motels within 10 miles of the church giving special rates for the Camp meeting. There are many more motels to choose from in Jackson along with every restaurant imaginable. While in Jackson you can visit Casey Jones’ Store and buffet restaurant or spend the night in one of the train cars! In Henderson, read the story of Buford Pusser’s life and see where Walking Tall originated. There are many sights to see during the day and each night you can join us for a special time of refreshing in the Lord! We anticipate another outpouring of His presence like we experienced in Mount Airy in July’s Camp meeting. There is something special about God’s people coming together from across the country hungry for His touch! He always shows up and brings about a change for His children. We are also preparing for our 5th Annual Ladies Winter Retreat in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. We are receiving calls already of churches making plans to bring their group of ladies! See our Ladies Meetings page with all the details. Don’t forget to register and book your rooms early! Every year has had it’s own special visitation and this year will be no different. I know you will be blessed and refreshed for another year!
We are renting Hampton Hall in Davenport, Iowa in October and the Heritage Building in Lanesville, Indiana in November. Ronnie and I have rented several buildings this year and seen such an outpouring of His presence. We expect these to be no different. Meet with us in the Quad Cities area or in my own hometown in Indiana with my Mom and family members for a revival filled with a refreshing touch! He directed Ezekiel to make sure His people left the temple different that when they came. We want to see that same change in these meetings! Join us as we reach for His will in all our lives.
Our plans are to be near our home several days in December during the holiday celebrating with our families. I hope you make plans to do the same this year. After we have seen such destruction in our nation, make a special effort to spend some time with your own family during Thanksgiving and Christmas. There could be no greater way to end this year but with the love of family, friends and a heart filled with the love of Jesus Christ!
