We turn the next page...

We just finished Pickin in the Park in the W. Kerr Scott Park this week.  I have written a blog with all the details of the success and difficulties of the concert.  We are so thankful to all who took part on the stage and for all our friends who came to help make this possible.  We love you.

Summer is quickly coming to a close and our face is turned to fall.  We have our first Campmeeting with Pastor William Sisum and The Church of God in Blairsville, Georgia in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains the first week of September.  You can see all the details on our Campmeeting page.  Brother Sisum has been to all of our campmeetings in Johnson City, TN - Wolftown, VA -  Mt Airy, NC -  Bethel Springs, TN  and Langley, SC.  We are excited to see what God has in store for all of us in Blairsville! 

Ronnie and I are looking forward to another tent meeting with my brother, Mike Ferree.  We had one together in May in Louisiana and now we will be in Langley, SC in September.  It is always such a joy being with my family...tag team preaching with Mike...and I love a tent!  Pastor Chris Williams is so gracious...he has set his tent, advertised and made preparations for our arrival.  We had several saved last year under the tent in August and Ronnie and I had 8 saved in Pastor Williams' church this month.  We have high expectation of what the Lord will do this time!  Langley is between Aiken and Augusta...we look forward to seeing you there!

October takes us to Bethel Springs, Tennessee again for our Fall Campmeeting with Pastor Marlene Austin.  Every year this is a refreshing week.  We go in one way and leave another way.  We look forward to worshipping with Victory Temple and our friends in that area again.  This area is much closer for our friends in Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.  Each year we have friends come up from Alabama and East Tennessee and Georgia.  You will not want to miss these meetings, the wonderful hospitality of Victory Temple and the ladies' great cooking after the morning meetings.  You can find details and motel information on our Campmeeting page also.

We have begun to send our packets out to all our pastors for our 9th Annual Ladies Winter Retreat in Pigeon Forge, TN November 19-22.  You need to begin making plans for 3 days in the beautiful Smoky Mountains for four services in the Smoky Mountain Convention Center with singing and worship by Lynda Hylton and preaching by myself along with other pastors.  We come with a word from our well for all those thirsty!  You can go to our Ladies Meetings page for all the details.  Make your reservations now with the Ramada Inn and don't forget...I need your registration fee early in order to prepare for your arrival!
