This scripture has been on my heart for several months now. In September at 4:15 in the morning the Lord dropped it in my spirit. It became the theme of our Ladies Retreat in November. While there, I gave each lady a tote bag with Black-eyed Susan seeds to plant in the Spring as a reminder of the importance of our seeds of kindness. I also gave each lady a card to mail to someone with an encouraging word…..sowing seeds of kindness. We have had 17 Retreats but never had a year made such a ripple in the lives of the ladies. Still they are sending kindness cards to once another and seeking God for a word from Him to give to encourage.
I am being checked on every side….to watch my words….to watch my Spirit…to always choose kindness. I am so touched to see what an impact it is having on the ladies. They are still talking about choosing kindness 2 months later.
I have purposed for my 2018….not a resolution…..just a new way of life. I want to leave seeds of kindness…make life easier for others….say it….don’t wait….say it now! Give my flowers today while you are here to enjoy them!
I encourage you to join this kindness river….take time out of your day to send a little card of encouraging words to someone not for their birthday or anniversary or a holiday but just because.
I pray your 2018 is your best year yet! <3
